Bee:
I don't have much to say about myself right at the moment. I
will fill this in as time goes on... Just know that I love my Muffin
(see below), and I love my friends, and I love my brother (he's adorable).
I'll post pictures of them on my Snapshots
page
as I get them scanned. For those who are interested, the
story
of my name.
I've thought of something!
Muffin:
Mmmm....now that's a subject I can talk about. Muffin is my boyfriend,
and he's the most wonderful man in the world. I want to marry that
man - that's how cool he is. You will find him scattered all throughout
these pages, and his name will probably change to different things.
He is Honey, Sweetie, Powie, Powder, Baby, etc. etc. He actually
lets me call him those goofy names too! See, he's wonderful.
I'm working on getting some pictures up of him, but there aren't any now.
For those of you who don't have the privilege of seeing him, I'll describe him to you. Muffin is about 5'10" tall, and he's about 190lbs. Wonderful... His eyes are the most beautiful blue I've ever seen. They're tucked back beneath dark eyebrows, and framed by these long, lush, wish-they-were-mine lashes. When he smiles, his eyes light up and shine like stars. Speaking of, his smile..wow, that's a treat. Powie-O has these dimples that are just amazing. And beautiful white teeth. Seeing him smile makes my heart flutter. Right now he has a full head of short, thick, dark brown hair. Of course he doesn't like it, he calls it his pelt. I love it, it's so thick and soft and touchable. He is sometimes shaved to stubble, which is very sexy too. Add an on-again, off-again goatee, and you have my beloved.
Of course, there's more to him than his pretty self, or I wouldn't be with him. Muffin is the most gentle man I've ever known. He isn't a 'wimp' or anything like that, he is a strong man, but with me, he is gentle. And he's a gentleman, too. He opens the car door for me, and then shuts it after me. That always makes me all mushy inside. When we are sharing a drink, he usually has custody of it. Without fail, he offers it to me just when I'm thirsty. I don't think I've asked for a drink more than twice in a year. When I cry, he holds me and tells me that he's there for me. When I'm happy, he is happy with me. He puts up with my mood swings, and he puts up with my insecurities. He treats me like I'm his princess. I really love that man.
If you are interested, you can check out "My
Sweet Honey" on my journal
page. That's where I'm going to write down all the sweet things he
does for me. Whatever it is that he does for me that makes my heart
bounce, I'm going to put it there. No, not THOSE kinds of things...hehehe.
Friends and Family:
I have two best friends (a Here
Friend and a There
Friend), and many acquaintances. I don't get out much.
My brother.
is probably the best kid brother in the world. I don't tell him enough,
but he is.
Matthew
is my online buddy.
If you want to see pictures, go to my Snapshots page. Or just click on the many links I have scattered throughout their descriptions.
My Here Friend is Erin. She used to work with me, which is how we met. Now we have both moved on to bigger and better things, but she's still my best friend in California. Erin is a beautiful tall woman. See her pictures if you don't believe me. Any man who's lucky enough to catch her will have his hands full; she's quite the independent type. Erin is a great friend. When things got really screwed up last summer, she was so there for me. I can't tell you how much her being there for me to lean on helped. I would have totally fallen apart if it wasn't for her. When you need someone, and they can be there for you to the extent that she was, that's a true friend. I thank her again - Erin, you are the best.
My There Friend is Deana.
She used to live here, but her Army Ant husband moved her out to Colorado.
I'm still hoping she'll come home. She is married and has a beautiful
baby. Her husband is Josh, and her baby is Mariyah. I will
post pictures when I can. Mariyah is my baby though, not hers.
I am just letting them potty train her, and then I'll bring her home with
her REAL mommy when I go out there next. Yeah, I wish. I love
that kid. I can settle for being Auntie Mel if I have to.
Deana and I went to high school together, which is how we met.
Actually, I should say we tried our hardest not to go to high school together.
We used to go off campus on our lunch breaks and smoke in the park.
Deana and I have gotten into some pretty interesting scrapes together.
Some day when I have the time, I'll tell the story of our San Francisco
trip. That was hilarious. See Deana's
pictures while you wait for me to get into gear.
My lovable "little" brother is Devin.
He's only about 5-6 inches taller than me so far. He's a sweetie.
I love him to bits. He's in high school, and he actually goes, unlike
me. Devin is a smart kid. And funny. I think he's the class clown.
He's great at sports. He's been into basketball, football, and track.
Of course, he excels in all of them. He's a smart fella too.
He broke the curve in one of his classes last semester. I was impressed.
And he's into Drama class. I would not at all be surprised if one
day he is as famous and twice as cute as Brad Pitt. Devin's a great
actor, and very cute. Check
him out. The pictures I have up are old, but I'll get around
to scanning newer ones someday.
Matthew
is my Army Ant friend. I met him when I went out to Colorado to visit
Deana and Co. Matt used to work with Josh, Deana's husband, fixing
helicopters. Now he's stationed in lovely Korea. I don't remember
if he's in North or South. Poor Matt. He gets to come back
to the USA soon though. I think he's going to be stationed in Alabama
or some southern state. I've only been in his actual physical presence
for less than 12 hours, but I've been friends with him for about 2 years.
Hmm... You can see his pictures
too if you want.
