Past Bit

2-22-99    Monday.  Ugh.  Why do we have to have such a day?  I guess someday had to be Monday.  Imagine if the week started on Friday.  Then everyone would be saying, "Oh, I hate Friday's.  I live for Tuesdays".  That would be funny, huh?

Poor Uncle Aussie is still sick.  I feel bad for her.  I wish she lived right around the corner, so I could go take her a bowl of miso soup (a friend of mine swears it cures what ails ya).  I think I will send her some get well flowers and ballons from the Virtual Florist.  That should cheer her up.  But she'll still be sick.  Hang in there Aussie.

I'm so very excited, tonight I am going to see WCW live at Arco Arena!  Wooo!  I used to hate wrestling, but when my Muffin got hurt and was stuck in bed for so long, he wanted to watch it.  Well, I couldn't say no, so we'd watch it.  Of course, I got hooked.  It's such a male soap opera...but it's so funny.  Actually, I think WWF is probably better, but I like them both.  WWF has the most unrealistic things happen.  Like one of the wrestlers hitting the owner of WWF and sending him to the hospital, and then breaking into the hospital and beating him up in his room.  And of course a camera happens to be right there videotaping the whole thing, and nobody hears anything or sees anything.  It's so funny.  I'll tell you how tonight is when I write tomorrow.

Lately I have really wanted to get out of town for a while.  I think it's a combination of stress and cold.  I want to go to some place where the sun is shining and the palm trees are swaying and life is good.  I want to sit on golden sandy beaches and sip margeritas or pina coladas and listen to a native band playing in the shade.  I want to live in my bathing suit for a week.  I want to get out of the damn rain.  I want to expose my scaly white legs to the sun.  I'm itchin to go to Cabo San Lucas, Hawaii, Jamaica, Florida, The Bahamas, some place that is not connected to real life.  Anyone have a plane ticket that they don't want?
